I work with adults who want to get back in touch with what is most important to them to feel more connected to themselves and others. I can share techniques to manage anxiety, overcome past & present challenges, connect more authentically with others, and identify skills that will help you succeed in school, work and life. If you are struggling with trauma, grief, depression/anxiety or other mental/emotional stress, we will work together to find the tools that best support your well-being.
Welcome to a space of warmth, non-judgment, and compassion! I enjoy working with people who are on a journey of self-introspection and discovery. You are the expert of your own life - I am here to help empower you with an approach of gentleness and humor. My work experiences include treatment of eating disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, relationship issues, grief, and perfectionism. I have extensive experience with college-aged and K-12 students from my time spent as a university counselor and school social worker.
Do you have a stack of partially read self-help books collecting dust in the corner? Maybe you had hopes they would provide the information you were seeking to stay cool and collected through challenging times - because let’s face it, 2020 was pretty much a shitshow. It is alright to feel overwhelmed, confused, and uncertain, just know you don’t have to stay in that place. Whether you are looking for coping strategies to build resiliency through life transitions or wanting to explore deeper parts of yourself and how you relate to the world, I would be honored to walk along side you in your healing journey to find your authentic self. We can work together to create transformational change.
I wholeheartedly believe in the ability for people to make changes regardless of life circumstances. Our sessions will be filled with humor, empathy, and compassion as we focus on making progress towards your desired outcome.

The organization collaborates with a diverse team of mental health professionals who not only possess clinical expertise but also understand the unique cultural nuances and challenges faced by the BIPOC community.

Congratulations on taking the first steps toward a happier and healthier life! It can be difficult to reach out and ask for support and I am here to help you see this as a sign of strength, not weakness. If you are feeling stuck in the past, overwhelmed with life, or working toward ridding yourself of an unhealthy habit I am here to help.
I have been a therapist for 25 years and am currently licensed in both Colorado and Wyoming. My primary emphasis has been in the realm of grief and loss issues (death of a loved one, unresolved grief, job loss, loss of health, loss of meaning, etc.), women's issues, lifespan issues, depression, reactivity, complex PTSD, and relationship counseling. I have an unusual approach to these issues, including a belief in a certain degree of warmth as being healing in the therapeutic relationship.
As a diversely trained therapist, I know that caring for our mental health is as crucial as caring for our physical health. I have been working for four years in a clinical setting with complex trauma and have specifically focused on anxiety, depression, ADHD and PTSD. I know that starting talking about mental health and beginning therapy can be intimidating and look forward to working in a comforting and personalized approach.
