I am a licensed mental health counselor and graduate of New York University currently working with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties. I have previous clinical experience in private practice and inpatient care, as well as previous research experience related to motivation under stress and suicide. In my work, I use an integrative, person-centered approach driven by clients' individual wants and needs.
I have worked in the field since 2009 and have experience in inpatient psychiatric social work as well as individual and family counseling. Over the past couple of years I have focused my continuing education on trauma-informed care, including EMDR and specifically attachment and somatic based approaches. I am most experienced working with adolescent, adult, and older adult populations.
I work with young adult and adult clients who have concerns related to anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, ADHD, or life transitions that are impacting daily functioning.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating-but you don't have to go through it alone. I'm here to walk alongside you as we explore your experiences, your story, and the ways they've shaped who you are. This process can be challenging at times, but I aim to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and safe enough to show up as your true self.
As an Asian American therapist and having grown up navigating two different cultures, I value the role that culture and identity play in shaping our experiences, I welcome clients from all backgrounds and aim to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and understood.
I believe that you are the expert of your own story. I'm here to help you in making sense of your experiences, deepening your self-understanding, and navigating challenges with greater clarity and confidence. Building a therapeuti relationship based on trust, respect, and authenticity is the core of my work-and I'm committed to showing up for you.
