Nice to meet you, I go by Jes. I have been working as a licensed clinical social worker for over 10 years. You may be looking for someone who can understand what you are going through and feeling. I have seen a many individuals in my practice struggling with life changes, depression, anxiety and other things that get in the way of feeling our best day to day. Its important that you have someone that you feel safe and not judged as you open up and explore your challenges. You can be assured that I am going to approach your session with an open mind and desire to show up for you. I attended University of Denver and received several certifications including animal assisted therapy, play therapy and EMDR.
I provide an open space to talk about any issue on your mind. Together, we probe deeper into patterns that affect your life and find ways to overcome those obstacles to your goals. I've worked in a variety of settings as a social worker and seen all manner of struggles and lives. I strive to understand your experiences and form a partnership on your healing journey.
As a therapist that is informed by relational therapy, I believe we don't only heal with therapeutic strategies and techniques; we also heal in relationships and communities with one another. This means that my number one priority as your therapist is to develop a trusting and meaningful connection with you where you feel safe, seen, and regarded. My communication style varies from person to person because there is not one single way to show up and be present as a therapist.
I am a transpersonal psychotherapist, life coach, healer, and artist with extensive experience in trauma/PTSD and dual-diagnosis work (substance and disordered eating issues). My approach recognizes that challenges often stem from trauma, and lasting recovery requires working with all facets of your being. I offer unique, holistic paths to healing, including both online sessions and in-person work at my retreat center for those who want to connect with nature. I provide compassionate guidance and effective tools to help you unlock deeper self-discovery and lasting growth.
Have you been feeling shut down, invalidated, or numb in life? Having difficulty navigating a big life transition? Maybe you've lost someone important to you recently and you're feeling exhausted from the heaviness of grief. My clients and I work together to determine barriers to wellness, and how to make changes in ways that are meaningful and empowering. I have developed a passion for working with people with ADHD, particularly adult individuals assigned female at birth, and have ADHD myself.
With a background in working with individuals across various age groups, including children, teenagers, and adults, I bring extensive experience to our therapeutic relationship. My focus areas include ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, depression, anxiety, and complex PTSD. I understand that each individual's journey is unique, and I'm here to provide the support you need to navigate the challenges you may be facing.
Do you find yourself overthinking relationships, second-guessing yourself, or feeling emotionally exhausted from trying to hold everything together? Many of the women I work with come to therapy feeling drained from trying to “do everything right” while still feeling anxious, unsure of themselves, or disconnected from who they are.
My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself without pressure or judgment. I’m warm, compassionate, and active in sessions , helping you identify patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and develop practical tools you can use in your daily life.
I believe therapy should feel both supportive and productive. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more confident, emotionally grounded, and secure in yourself and your relationships.
I’m a neuro-spicy therapist, who helps late diagnosed and high-masking neurodivergent adults understand themselves and find more ease in daily life.
I've been working with neurodivergent humans for the better part of the last 10 years. Being late-diagnosed or questioning can feel confusing and lonely. That's why I try my best to create a space that feels affirming and practical.
