Hi! My name is Julie Fox. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. I over 20 years of experience working to help others heal. I am dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve there best.
As someone who has been a school counselor I realize that a child's mental health is often times directly correlated to their parents mental health. For that reason I love serving children and or adults that struggle with ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I also have a huge heart for those who are in need of pregnancy related counseling. Those dealing with loss, infertility, or postpartum depression are a population that is underserved and in need of mental health assistance.
I’m passionate about creating a space where you can truly be yourself — seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to offer a warm, supportive environment where you don’t have to hold it all together, and where healing can begin through genuine connection.
I specialize in working with individuals and couples, particularly within the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. I understand how identity, culture, and systemic challenges can shape our experiences and relationships. My work is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect for your story.

My name is Dr. Juila Carter, and I've been practicing psychology since 2014. In addition to my doctorate degree, I am board certified in Behavioral and Cognitive therapy through the American Board of Professional Psychology. I have been serving our nation's Veteran's by working as a psychologist with the Department of Veterans Affairs for over 10 years, and continue to do this full time.
Through my work at the VA I've had the privilege of working with Veterans on issues including PTSD, Anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and relationship concerns. Working at the VA has also afforded me the opportunity to continue learning cutting edge treatment strategies including trauma focused treatments, stress reduction techniques, and DBT skills.
While my primary job has been working with Veterans, I have worked with a variety of individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and presenting issues. I've helped people with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma history, and adjustment concerns, in addition to personality disorders and over controlled coping styles.
In addition to my clinical work, I engage in research on the cause and treatment of personality disorders, and supervise and teach students at the VA and local university.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and kids, and while we are currently pet free, looking forward to getting a dog in the next year. I love being outdoors when it's not the height of TX summer, and enjoy listening to thunderstorms when I get the chance I enjoy reading (Stephen King is my favorite) and watching TV.
I am a double board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC, FNP-C) with over 15 years of nursing experience and clinical practice as a family nurse practitioner since 2020. My goal is to partner with patients in achieving optimal mental wellness and improved quality of life through individualized, patient-centered care and active therapeutic collaboration
The atmosphere that is created in the therapy session is one of warmth, safety, and acceptance. I have a straightforward, interactive approach to treatment.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked in outpatient, inpatient, and intensive outpatient settings to provide quality mental healthcare for those in need. Life has a way of throwing "unexpected" transitions our way—whether you’re a young adult finding your footing, a couple trying to bridge a growing gap, or a fellow veteran transitioning back to civilian life. As a proud veteran of the United States Navy, I bring a unique perspective of discipline, resilience, and service to my clinical work. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas and have spent a decade supporting diverse populations, including first responders, civil service members, and families navigating the complexities of depression and relationship conflict. I'm here to ensure you feel seen and supported as we turn life's surprises into opportunities for growth.
