My work centers around trauma and neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, late-diagnosed autism, and PTSD as well as anxiety and stress management and general life transitions. My approach is client-centered and neurodiversity-affirming, and I lean towards a comfortable, casual conversation style of talk therapy.
I have been providing mental health treatment for over thirty years. I have worked in a variety of settings to include local outpatient mental health centers, childrens group homes, therapeutic foster parenting, substance abuse treatment centers to include outpatient and detox, Worked in emergency rooms providing psychiatric exams, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, and partial hospitalization programs. Been in private practice for myself for over three years now.

With 25 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, and my primary focus has become helping those who struggle with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.

Drawing on my background as a retired member of the U.S. Air Force, I bring discipline, commitment, and a compassionate understanding of life's challenges to my practice. As a husband and father of four, I know firsthand the importance of building strong, supportive relationships and nurturing a sense of connection and purpose. My journey in higher education began with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2019, followed by earning a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University in 2022.
