I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and EMDR-certified therapist, dedicated to providing a warm, empowering space for healing. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, I specialize in helping individuals reprocess trauma, build skills to manage emotional dysregulation, and develop a more positive mindset. My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, guiding you toward resilience and lasting change. Whether you're facing PTSD, anxiety, or life transitions, I am here to support your journey to well-being.
I am a licensed clinical social worker who graduated from Rutgers University with a Masters in Social Work. Throughout my 12+ year career I have worked with a variety of people and have really found my skill set to be working with people dealing with OCD, depression, and anxiety. I like to incorporate elements of CBT, DBT, and mindfulness into my work.
You're reading a text and already composing your response, then deleting it, then rewriting it. By the time you send something, you've decided they're annoyed with you. The conversation hasn't even happened yet, and you've already lived through three versions of how it goes wrong. That loop, the replaying, the rehearsing, the bracing, is exhausting in a way that's hard to explain to people who don't experience it. I work with people who are ready to step out of that loop and actually trust themselves in the moments that matter.
Hi, I’m Emily Long, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, families, and school communities across North Carolina. My background includes extensive work in school mental health, behavioral support, crisis intervention, and helping individuals navigate emotional and life challenges with compassion and practical support.
I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Tulane University and my professional experience has centered around supporting children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, trauma, school-related stress, ADHD, and family challenges. I also work closely with adults who are experiencing burnout, stress, compassion fatigue, life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed by the demands of work and caregiving.
Hi! I am a clinical social worker and addiction specialist with seven years of experience in the social work and mental health fields. I am a 2022 graduate of Fayetteville State University's Advanced-Standing MSW program, in which I also completed the Substance Abuse Studies Certificate program. I earned my undergraduate degree (BSW) from East Carolina University in 2018. I have experience working with children, families, teens, adults, and those with substance use disorders.
I got my MA in Dance/Movement Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2009 and have since worked mostly in community mental health. I'm excited to move more fully into working with women in transitional spaces of life looking for support and validation about their desires and next steps. I also work with preschool age children in their homes or school to help behavioral and relationship issues.
