You don't have to keep pushing through alone. Whether you're a woman managing anxiety or depression, a teen girl who's struggling to feel like herself, or someone carrying the grief of infertility or pregnancy loss — this is a space built for you.
I specialize in working with women and adolescent girls, with a particular focus on depression, anxiety, self-harm, infertility, and pregnancy loss. When it comes to teens, my experience goes far beyond the therapy room. I've spent years working in inpatient psychiatric settings — including serving as a clinical director — supporting adolescents through their most acute moments of crisis, self-harm, severe anxiety, and depression. That depth of experience means I'm not rattled by the hard stuff. I understand how complex teen mental health can be, and I know how to meet young people where they are — even when they don't want to be there at first.
I am client centered and in service to helping others live their best lives. Attended Stony Brook University followed by Queens College for my masters in School Psychology. Adelphi University for psychodynamic post masters training. Practitioner of yoga, mindfulness, reiki, certified breath coach.
Hi, I'm Madeleine Silverstein, a licensed clinical therapist with 10 years of experience supporting adults, teens, and families using a trauma-informed, integrative approach. I hold master's degrees in Social Work and Applied Behavior Analysis, and my background spans inpatient hospitals, residential treatment, schools, and outpatient settings. I combine talk therapy with somatic and body-based modalities to create a personalized experience that meets each client where they are. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your journey toward healing and growth.
True healing isn't just about managing symptoms — it's about addressing the whole person.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who believes that lasting stability and happiness require working on three levels: your physical experience, your emotional patterns, and your spiritual wellbeing. When all three are addressed together, real change becomes possible.
I work with clients to identify what's getting in the way of the life they want — and build the tools, insight, and coping strategies to actually get there.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who offers caring, evidence-based medication management across the lifespan. I focus on treating ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, and insomnia, and I work closely with each person to understand their unique experiences and goals.
I believe mental health care should be supportive, never rushed or judgmental. My approach is patient-centered and practical. I take time to listen, explain your options, and include you in every treatment decision. Whether you are starting medication, making changes to your current plan, or seeking more balance and clarity, I want you to feel heard and empowered.
Welcome. My name is Dr. Adrianne Horowitz, Ph.D., LCSW, and I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience providing compassionate, supportive, and evidence-based counseling services. I work with children, adults, couples, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, parenting concerns, and life transitions. One of my specialties is treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder using Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP).
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic approaches, I help clients develop practical coping strategies, improve communication, and build resilience in a safe and supportive environment.
In addition to private practice, I have extensive experience working with families of children with autism and developmental disabilities, as well as teaching graduate social work students and presenting on mental health and family support topics.
I believe therapy should be a place where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.
