Clients should know that I am someone who genuinely wants to hear them—especially if they feel overwhelmed, unseen, or lost in the chaos of daily life. I strive to create a space where it’s safe to be human, honest, and imperfect. I believe healing begins when we can talk openly about our pain, our hopes, and everything in between, without fear of judgment.
I am deeply committed to meeting clients exactly where they are and walking alongside them at a pace that feels right. I value trust, authenticity, and connection, and I take my role seriously as both a support and a collaborator in your healing process. Outside of therapy, I’m a lifelong learner, a big sports fan, and someone who finds grounding in working out, good food, and live music—reminders that joy and connection can exist alongside life’s hardest moments.
Life can feel overwhelming when you are trying to handle everything on your own. I help people navigate difficult life transitions, manage stress, and build stronger relationships without sacrificing their identity. As a therapist, my approach is direct, collaborative, and focused on practical strategies to get you back in control.

Let's face it: life can be an absolute rollercoaster. Sometimes you're coasting smoothly, and sometimes you're staring straight down a terrifying drop. If you're feeling overwhelmed by a crisis, suffocated by anxiety or depression, tangled up in family issues, or burned out by occupational stress, you don't have to white-knuckle it alone.
I’m Tawny Meyers, and I specialize in meeting people exactly where they are—especially when they feel like they're standing in the middle of a messy pile of problems. I believe the most effective therapy is built on a foundation of genuine connection, warmth, and, yes, a little bit of humor. We’ll definitely laugh sometimes, because let's be honest, if we can't find a way to laugh, we're probably crying.
I have been a counselor for eight years now, and I have helped a wide variety of client's seek solutions and relief during that time. I think that counseling should be a collaborative process, and I am very flexible in being able to meet clients where they are it in order to help them get to where they want to be.
I have a heart to see breakthrough, healing, and freedom for my clients. I have 20+ years history of working with adolescents and adults with learning differences: neurodivergence, autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and executive functioning deficits. I have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with trauma, abuse, identity, and somatic issues.
I’m glad you’re here! Starting therapy is a big step, and it takes courage. I’m a licensed psychologist experienced in helping people work through trauma, anxiety, and depression.
