I am a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed therapist who specializes in working with children, teens, and families. I have extensive experience supporting clients with autism, adhd, anxiety, big emotions, and challenging behaviors. I also enjoy providing parent support and coaching.
As a parent of 2 neurodivergent children, I bring both professional expertise and lived empathy to my work. I offer telehealth (primary) in-home, and community-based sessions so I can meet clients where they feel most comfortable.
I’m Francie Blair, an LCSW who works from a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens. I support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, family rupture, grief, and difficult life transitions. I center safety, connection, and empowerment, helping clients build tools to regulate their nervous system, understand their patterns, and move toward healthier relationships—with themselves and the people they care about.
With all that is going on in the world and our community right now, you’ve likely been carrying a lot for a long time. You learned how to get through overwhelming experiences, and on the outside you seem strong...but inside, you feel tired and disconnected. You might not be in crisis, but you know you’re not fully at peace, either. Maybe you want to feel grounded again, or to understand yourself more deeply, or to reconnect with the parts of you that had to go quiet in order to cope. You’re ready for a slower, steadier kind of healing, and a therapist that feels safe and honors your pace.
I believe healing happens in the context of safety and connection. Many of the people I work with are insightful, capable, and hard on themselves — often holding everything together on the outside while struggling internally. If that resonates, I want you to know that I see the strength it took to survive the way you did.
My work is grounded in the belief that you don’t need to be “fixed.” You may have learned to cope by staying busy, staying strong, or staying small — but those patterns made sense at one point. Together, we gently explore where they came from and whether they still serve you.
I also deeply respect the non-linear nature of healing. There is no deadline for becoming “better.” Growth unfolds differently for everyone, and part of our work is cultivating self-compassion along the way.
I'm Kathryn Konicek, founder and owner of Evolve Therapy & Consulting. I am dedicated to helping you cultivate the life you want—without judgment. Seriously, fuck judgment! Whether you're navigating intense life transitions, or recovering from trauma, I work to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can show up exactly as you are, with all the messy, real parts of your story.
Reaching out for therapy can take courage, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with nearly a decade of clinical experience in inpatient behavioral health. I focus on depression and bipolar mood concerns, anxiety, ADHD, and life stressors.
As your therapist, I offer a space that is nonjudgmental, kind, and genuinely welcoming. I understand that trying new ways of facing life's challenges can be intimidating, and my goal is to help you feel as comfortable as possible throughout that process.
Professionally, I bring experience from a variety of challenging settings—including my time serving clients and families in foster care and nursing homes, even through the COVID-19 pandemic. My academic foundation is rooted right here in Colorado, having attended CSU and Adams State.
Personally, I'm a native Coloradan, a bonus mom, and a lover of all things creative, including photography and fine art.
My ultimate purpose in this work is simple: to be an open and secure space where you can process your journey, question mindsets that no longer serve you, and work toward being the best version of yourself—as you define it.
